M.S.U. / Czech Technical University Land Planning Exchange & Development

This Land planning and development exchange program was put in place with the Landscape Architeture Program of MSU and the Czech Technical University, along with several private businesses and consultants. The community was basically willing to give a developer first right of refusal on all of the small resort town with a freshwater lake (a big deal in Czech) just east of the Capital City of Prague. The interest in the project was extreme from the private business and university level, but a primary sponsor for the acquisition and development of the real estate could not be found.

Lednice - Valtice in Southern Moravia - Redevelopment of the Lichtenstein Castles as World Historic Tourist Attractions

This video, made by Czech producers at the direction of the Ministry of Economy which we have great connections with highlights the castles in southern Moravia, just north of Budapest, and east of Vienna. These castles were once the vacation homes of the once very pwealthy and powerful Lichtenstein family whom actually had their own country, which is now much smaller than it was and does not include this these territories. These castles were offered to developers and investors of West Michigan (Amway Corporation) as high profile Eastern Block redevelopment opportunities to increase toursism and visibility to the region. Amway did open operations in the Czech Republic and neighboring eastern bloc countries and had enjoyed mild success with their sales totals.
